DIY Lemon Based Handmade Product In Malaysia

Hi guys! So this week we’re doing The Lemon Series! I wanted to make something refreshing and clean-smelling because honestly, our Malaysian weather so panas lately 

 So lemon is perfect it’s known to brighten skin, reduce oiliness, and just give that “fresh baru mandi” feeling.

Traditionally, lemon has always been used in many Asian homes to help lighten scars, clean oily skin, and even as natural deodorant (our nenek pun use this last time 😆). 

It’s rich in Vitamin C, which helps brighten dull skin and even out tone naturally.

So this week I’m showing you 5 easy DIY products using SoapLab’s bases ; all with lemon as the main theme 

1. Lemon & Honey Foaming Wash

Ingredients (makes 1kg Body Wash):
1kg SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base (thin)
10g Lemon Essential Oil
10g Honey Fragrance Oil
0.5g Yellow Mica
1g Glycerin
Alcohol – to spray
Storage container

2. Lemon & Rose Body Soap (CP)

Ingredients: (makes 1kg Soap)

300g Coconut Oil 

300g Olive Oil

300g Palm Oil 

100g Castor Oil 

144g Sodium Hydroxide 

188g Water  

50g Lemon Essential Oil

20g Yellow Mica

20g Titanium Dioxide 

Dried Rose Petal

Rubbing Alcohol - to spray 

Silicone Mould - 1kg

 3. Lemon & Lime Soap Bar (CP)

Ingredients: (makes 1kg Soap)

300g Coconut Oil 

300g Olive Oil

300g Palm Oil 

100g Castor Oil 

144g Sodium Hydroxide 

188g Water  

50g Mandarin Lime Fragrance Oil

Soap Shavings

Rubbing Alcohol - to spray 

Silicone Mould - 1kg

4. Strawberry Lemon Solid Soap (MP)

Ingredients: (makes 1kg Soap)

1kg SoapLab’s Handmade Shea Butter Soap Base     

30g Fresh Strawberry Fragrance Oil 

20g Lemon Essential Oil

1g yellow mica

1g synstar red mica

4g glycerin

Rubbing Alcohol - to spray 

Silicone Mould

5. Lemon Deodorant

Ingredients (makes 1kg Deodorant):
1kg SoapLab’s Natural Deodorant Base
20g Mandarin Lime Fragrance Oil
20g Aloe Vera Extract
Alcohol – to spray
