How To Make: Hibiscus & Frangipani Shampoo & Co Wash Conditioner

Hi guys. So yesterday i had outline the whole science-y thingy as to what hibiscus extracts are used for and how each and every chemical constituents works on the skin and hair.

And one of the most awesome thing i found was that Hibiscus is perfect for the hair! Especially ‘aging’ person like me :D.

Im in my late 30’s and my hair is already ‘greying’ in strips and so after reading up apparently in India; they swear by hibiscus to darken their hair.

Apparently one of my staff in SoapLab says they believe the same in Sabah. So i thought why not! Lets try this and if it works awesome; and if it doesnt; ih well at least i tried:-)

Previously we did a hibiscus Patchouli shampoo and many said it worked for their hair loss.

So today’s recipe will be on how to make the shampoo thats for reducing hair loss and reducing grey hair.

Along with it; ill also show you how to make co wash conditioner as well.

Ill write more on what co wash is and why is it important to use it on non shampoo days so do check out our next article. Co wash is more for those who have curly/wavy/zig zag /dry hair (basically not straight hair). You use it on days when you are not shampooing your hair but need a cleaning. Washing your hair too often will cause the natural to be stripped off from hair; resulting in dry and frizzy hair. So the idea is on shampoo day; use creamy conditioner/ mask. On non shampoo days use co wash.

So anyways; back to our star ingredient today: Hibiscus Extract; you can read all about it here in our previous article. Now lets go to the basic formulation:
