KKM Audit For Our New GMP Factory (2026)

 

So.. its been more than a year of planning, and moving around, (non stop stress) for this to finally happen! 

It was end of 2024 when we decided that having a huge factory in subang jaya isnt financially sustainable anymore and something needs to change if we wanted SoapLab to survive. 

You see for SoapLab, manufacturing is a small % of revenue. Most of our business comes from raw material supplies, bases, readymade products and classes.

For those other aspect of the business; we didnt need to ‘sit’ in a gmp factory; while for manufacturing we still need.

But the most painful part? The rental of this GMP Factory

Every month it just feels like money flowing out like water. And after the flood in 2021, the maintenece alone was leaking the money😩

And so in 2024, we decided its time to move! 

And once the decission was made.. everything starts again. 

Plan approval,

Architect drawings

Majlis approval

Renovation

Kkm initial approval.

And budget? Don say la. Just like home reno, whatever number you start with, somehow it becomes 3x more😩

So many times ill lie sleepless at night counting if this is even worth it

But yday; after the audit, something strange happened!

I suddenly felt so relief! Like the whole body’s stress was lifted! I didnt even realise i had that stress for a yr! 

For the first time in a yr; when i was driving back home; my mind didnt need to work. 

No calculation

No worries,

No what if this or that goes wrong. 

Just quiet. Almost like meditating. 

Of course that only lasted for a day la. Today its another day and theres new problems to solve (typical daily life of a business owner😅) 

But stil; this chapter?; its done💪🏼

And this reminds me that sometimes when building something; people only see results. They dont see the months or years that goes into it. 

5 years Of running a GMP factory, building 2 factory, registering 100 cosmetic products. There so much to share about this journey.
