How To Make: Liquid Soap; Tat Nenas (Raya Inspired Recipes)

Hi guys! We're in our second series now for Hari Raya! 

It's just 1 week away, so hurry hurry and lets get started! 

We created this series for those that suffer from oily and acne prone skin, because we KNOW how difficult it is to look presentable and clean with oily skin. 

Make up sometimes doesnt stay, and worse...breakouts. 

For this, we begin with a mild coconut liquid soap base that cleanses yet maintains the moisture balance of the skin. This is important so that you do not strip away the natural oils of the skin that leads to heavier oil production. 

Next we focus on the benefits of pineapple. It has similar properties to carrots for example antioxidants like beta carotene, vitamin C that enhances skin health and leaves you with a glowing look. 

Anyone can now guess what our series is called? It's after one of our favourite kuih raya... Tat Nenas!! 

Ingredients: (makes 100g Liquid Soap)

1. SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base
2. Lemon Essential Oil 
3. Cold Pineapple Fragrance Oil
4. Pineapple Extract
5. Yellow Colour Pigment
6. Glycerin
7. Rubbing Alcohol
8. Pump Bottle

3. Make sure all your utensils and work surface is clean and sterilise as dirty area and utencils can reduce shelf life of scrub
4. Do not add in any Fresh ingredients that can spoil easily as this will reduce the shelf life of scrub. Click here to find out more
5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
