DIY Hydrating Hair Serum Using Olive OIl

Hair serum has many benefits. The Hydrating Cherry Blossom & Olive Hair Serum help nourish and soften hair. It does it by moisturising and hydrating your hair, leaving it radiant and healthy. We will be using HA serum base here that is very moisturising and promotes hair growth.

To make this recipe add olive oil to a hair serum base. Olive oil repair dry skin, by moisturizing the scalp. It also promotes healthy hair growth. 

For a soothing aromatic smell add Japanese cherry blossom fragrance oil. To finish off the serum, add purple liquid pigment for a pleasing colour.

Preparation Time : 5 minutes

Total Time : 10 minutes 

Ingredients: (makes 100g Serum)

1. 100g SoapLab’s Hair Serum Base  
2. 0.5g Olive Oil 
3. 1g Japanese Cherry Blossom Fragrance Oil 
4. 2g Hydrogenated Castor Oil
5. 2 drops of Purple Liquid Colour Pigment 
6. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
7. 100ml pump bottle

1. Pour 100g of SoapLab’s Hair Serum Base into a container, ready to be mixed. 
   
   
   
2. Add in 0.5g Olive Oil into the mixing container. 
   
3. Add in Japanese Cherry Blossom Fragrance Oil into the mixture. Use a pipette for easy and accurate measuring & dispensing. 
   
   
   
4. Add in two drops of Purple  Liquid Colour Pigment into the mixture. 
   
   
   
5. Mix everything with a whisk until colour is evenly dispersed throughout the serum. 
   
   
   
6. Spray Rubbing Alcohol inside the storage container. This will help sterelize the container and remove any existing contaminants and bacteria. 
   
   
   
7. Pour serum into the storage container carefully to avoid any spillage. 
   
   
   
8. Screw on the pump head tightly and there you go, hair serum is ready!
