Today in our Mini DIY Class Series, we’re making something simple but packed with skin-loving goodness—Green Tea Berries Soap.
This one is great for anyone with sensitive or dull skin. It combines the antioxidant power of green tea with a fruity scent for a refreshing mandi experience
Here’s the recipe (makes 1kg soap):
300g Coconut Oil
300g Olive Oil
300g Palm Oil
100g Castor Oil
144g Sodium Hydroxide
188g Water
10g Green Tea Powder
10g Green Tea Extract
50g Berries Fragrance Oil (Phthalate-Free)
Rubbing Alcohol – to spray
1kg Silicone Mould
Why I Used What I Used:
Green Tea Powder & Extract – Packed with antioxidants that help calm and protect the skin.
Berries Fragrance Oil – Sweet and fruity scent to make your soap feel more fun and uplifting.
Coconut, Olive, Palm & Castor Oils – The usual combo we use for gentle cleansing with creamy lather.
Rubbing Alcohol – To prevent soda ash and smooth out the soap surface.

- If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
