3 mins Online Class: Green Tea Soap Using Cold Process Method

Today in our Mini DIY Class Series, we’re making something simple but packed with skin-loving goodness—Green Tea Berries Soap. 

This one is great for anyone with sensitive or dull skin. It combines the antioxidant power of green tea with a fruity scent for a refreshing mandi experience

Here’s the recipe (makes 1kg soap):

• 300g Coconut Oil

• 300g Olive Oil

• 300g Palm Oil

• 100g Castor Oil

• 144g Sodium Hydroxide

• 188g Water

• 10g Green Tea Powder

• 10g Green Tea Extract

• 50g Berries Fragrance Oil (Phthalate-Free)

• Rubbing Alcohol – to spray

• 1kg Silicone Mould

Why I Used What I Used:

• Green Tea Powder & Extract – Packed with antioxidants that help calm and protect the skin.

• Berries Fragrance Oil – Sweet and fruity scent to make your soap feel more fun and uplifting.

• Coconut, Olive, Palm & Castor Oils – The usual combo we use for gentle cleansing with creamy lather.

• Rubbing Alcohol – To prevent soda ash and smooth out the soap surface.

5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
