Online Class: Green Apple Foaming Body Sugar Scrub In Malaysia

Hi everyone! In today’s Mini DIY Class Series, we’re making a super easy and yummy-smelling body scrub using SoapLab’s Foaming Body Butter Base. 

This one is perfect if you want soft, glowing skin without feeling greasy. 

It scrubs and cleans at the same time the best part? It smells like green apple candy!

This is great for weekly use especially if you’ve got dull or dry skin. It’s a gentle exfoliator that makes your skin feel smooth after mandi. You can also use this as a cute gift idea or to start your own skincare business!

Recipe (Makes 1kg Body Scrub):

1. 500g SoapLab’s Foaming Body Butter Base

2. 500g Fine Sugar

3. 10g Green Apple Fragrance Oil (Phthalate-Free)

4. 2g Green Mica

5. 4g Glycerin

6. Rubbing Alcohol – to spray

7. Storage Container

Why I Used What I Used:

• SoapLab’s Foaming Body Butter Base – It’s a creamy base that foams when you add water. Made with coconut-derived surfactants, castor oil and shea butter so it’s both cleansing and moisturising.

• Fine Sugar – Helps scrub away dead skin gently without hurting the skin.

• Green Apple Fragrance Oil – Fruity, fresh scent that’s phthalate-free and suitable even for sensitive skin.

• Green Mica – Adds a fun pop of colour, safe for skin and makes it look cantik!

• Glycerin – Extra hydration to lock in moisture after scrubbing.

3. Make sure all your utensils and work surface is clean and sterilise as dirty area and utensils can reduce shelf life of scrub

5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
