Cuticle Rescue Oil For Hand: How To Make


Today’s recipe is for the 4 oil cuticle rescue. Cuticles are easily damaged and become dry and chapped easily. Today’s recipe will rescue your cuticles and make your skin healthy. 

Firstly, add evening primrose oil which supplies the skin with nutrients. It also is an anti-inflammatory which helps reduce swelling and itching. Next, add jojoba oil which repairs the skin as it is rich with Vitamin C and E. Sweet almond oil is then added. It protects the skin from damage and keeps the skin soft and smooth. Add coconut oil which prevents infections and fends off harmful bacteria. Finally add, lavender sage essential oil which reduces inflammation and reduces dryness of the skin. With these amazing ingredients, your chapped and dry cuticles will be a thing of the past!

Duration:

Preparation Time : 5 minutes
Total Time : 10 minutes 

Ingredients: (makes 200g Cuticle Oil)

  1. 60g Jojoba Oil 
  2. 60g Sweet Almond Oil 
  3. 60g Coconut Oil 
  4. 18g Evening Primrose Oil 
  5. 2g Lavender Sage Essential Oil 
  6. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
  7. 100g x 2 dropper bottle

Visual Guide  

  1. Pour 60g of Coconut Oil  into a container, ready to be mixed. 

  2. Add in Sweet Almond Oil into the mixing container. 

  3. Next, pour in Jojoba Oil into the mixture. 

  4. Also, using a pipette, add in SoapLab’s Evening Primrose Oil. 

  5. Lastly, add in Lavender Sage Essential Oil into mixture. You may use a pipette to make it easier to measure.

  6. Mix everything with a whisk.  

  7. Spray Rubbing Alcohol inside the storage container. This will help sterilise the container and remove any existing contaminants and bacteria. 

  8. Pour cuticle oil into the storage container carefully to avoid any spillage. 

  9. Screw on the dropper tightly 

  10. There you go, oil is ready to treat all sorts of damaged cuticle :)

  3. Make sure all your utensils and work surface is clean and sterilise as dirty area and utensils can reduce shelf life of scrub
  4. Do not add in any Fresh ingredients that can spoil easily as this will reduce the shelf life of product unless specified in recipe. Click here to find out more
  5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
