- Using a kitchen knife, cut SoapLab’s Opaque White Soap Base into small cubes. The smaller the cube, the faster it will melt.
- Place cubes into a heat resistant container and melt at 20 seconds interval. Check on soap constantly to avoid soap from getting burn.
- Once melted, using a pipette, add in Chocolate Chip Cookie Fragrance Oil into the melted soap.
- Next, add in Brown Iron Oxide Mica that has been mixed with glycerin into the mixture. Then, mix everything with a spatula.
- Pour the soap mixture onto a silicone baking tray. Spray on some rubbing alcohol to remove any air bubbles. Leave soap to harden for 30 minutes.
- Once harden, gently using your fingers, peel off the soap sheet. Try to go slow and not break the sheet.
- “Massage” the soap sheet by rolling & bending it in order to prep the sheet for the next step.
- Next, melt some more SoapLab’s Opaque White Soap Base (refer to step 1 and 2). Once melted, add in SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base into the mixing container.
- Using a hand blender with the whisk attachment, whip soap mixture until it is airy and fluffy, just like whipped cream.
- This will take about 1 - 2 minutes of whipping, depending on the speed. If it starts to form and hold soft peaks, then it is ready.
- Using an offset spatula, slather on the soap cream onto the soap sheet. Spread the cream onto the sheet to ensure easy rolling.
- Once ready, go ahead and roll up the soap. Try make it as tight as possible, this will produce a neater outcome.
- With the same offset spatula, clean up excess soap cream, or even add more to make the soap look neater.
- Using a soap cutter (optional) and a knife, cut the soap according to about a thickness of a real swiss roll.
- With that, soap is ready!
