Mini Online Soap Class Malaysia: Milk & Honey Cold Process Soap

In today’s Mini DIY Class Series, we’re making one of the most classic combos ever—Honey & Milk Cold Process Soap. 

This one’s perfect if you want a soothing, gentle soap for daily use. It’s packed with skin-loving ingredients like fresh honey, fresh milk, and rose petals, so it feels like a treat every time you use it.

The scent we used is Ginger Tea fragrance oil—it’s warm, sweet, and calming. Feels like you’re mandi dekat spa!

Recipe:

• 300g Coconut Oil
• 300g Olive Oil
• 300g Palm Oil
• 100g Castor Oil
• 144g Sodium Hydroxide
• 144g Water
• 50g Fresh Milk
• 50g Fresh Honey
• 5g Neon Purple Color Pigment
• 50g Ginger Tea Fragrance Oil (Phthalate-Free by SoapLab)
• 5g Rose Petals

Why I Used What I Used

Fresh Milk – Adds creaminess to the soap and makes it feel super soft on the skin.

Fresh Honey – A natural humectant that keeps your skin hydrated. It’s also antibacterial, which makes it great for daily cleansing.

Ginger Tea Fragrance Oil – This scent is warm, calming, and spa-like. Perfect if you want something relaxing after a long day.

Neon Purple Pigment – Just to give the soap a soft purple tone so it looks cantik and calming.

Rose Petals – Adds a natural, pretty touch to the soap and gives a little gentle scrub.

Oil Mix Base (Coconut, Olive, Palm, Castor) – This base creates a bubbly lather that’s not drying. Very gentle for all skin types.

3. Make sure all your utensils and work surface is clean and sterilise as dirty area and utensils can reduce shelf life of scrub

5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
