Mini Online Class: Making Herbal Lavender Facial Cleanser

Hi guys! So this week we’re doing skincare using SoapLab’s ready-made bases — and today’s one is a super gentle facial cleanser you can use daily, especially if your skin is sensitive or easily irritated.

This cleanser is made using SoapLab’s Natural Facial Cleanser Base. it’s sulphate-free, paraben-free, and made using coconut and olive oils, so it’s really gentle and won’t strip off your natural oils. Perfect kalau your skin selalu kering or break out easily!

We added chamomile and lavender essential oils to calm the skin, plus carrot extract to brighten up your complexion naturally.

This is suitable for all skin types especially those with acne-prone or easily inflamed skin.

Here’s What You Need (Makes 1kg Cleanser):

• 1kg SoapLab’s Natural Facial Cleanser Base
• 0.5g Chamomile Essential Oil
• 0.5g Lavender Essential Oil
• 0.5g Purple Red Mica
• 1g Glycerin
• 3g Carrot Extract
• 2g Lavender Extract
• Rubbing Alcohol – to spray
• Storage container

Why I Used What I Used:

• SoapLab’s Facial Cleanser Base – Made from coconut & olive oil, SLS-free, gentle enough for daily use.
• Chamomile EO – Soothes redness, calms skin, great for sensitive or inflamed skin.
• Lavender EO – Helps with acne, calming for both skin and mood!
• Carrot Extract – Adds a bit of natural glow and brightness.
• Lavender Extract – Extra calming, especially if you get breakouts or eczema.
• Glycerin – Locks in moisture, keeps skin soft and hydrated.
• Purple Red Mica – Just to make it look cute 😍 (totally skin-safe!)

3. Make sure all your utensils and work surface is clean and sterilise as dirty area and utensils can reduce shelf life of scrub

5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
