How To Make: Cold Process Soap For Oily & Acne Skin (Sweet Citrus Handmade Natural Soap Bar) Malaysia

For those of you with oily skin, we understand how difficult it is. Frequent acne break outs, clogged pores…and always having bright shiny spots on your face! So for today's recipe we make a cold press recipe which is great for your oily skin.
We begin with freshly squeezed orange juice. To this, we add sweet kaffir lime essential oil. If you notice, both orange and lime are from the citrus fruit family.
You would also know another fruit in this family, lemons! When we are using citrus essential oils, their main properties are their antibacterial and antiseptic properties which are very helpful in treating acne.

But what most people don't know is that they also increase your body's ability to absorb vitamin C intake. Vitamin C is an antioxidant. Antioxidant works really well on your acne scar where prolong use have shown to lighten the scars

Next for moisturising and to avoid drying out the skin, we use jojoba oil which is rich in Vitamin E (also an antioxidant) that helps maintain skin health.

Even though your skin is oily, drying out the skin will cause the skin to produce even more oil and lead to acne breakouts. This is why it is important to ensure that skin is always moisturised.

Jojoba oil is considered as ‘dry oil’ which is perfect for someone with oily and acne face! All in all; this is a great recipe for those who wants to reduce acne and oily face. Do try it out! Hope you like the recipe!
