How To Make Acne Cleanser ( Gel Cleanser using tea Tree)

Your skin can be affected with acne for many reasons. To prevent this, you have to be vigilant in your daily skin care. 

Today’s recipe which is the acne clearing tea tree gel cleanser, should be part of your skin care routine.

To make this cleanser, use Soaplab’s aloe vera gel base and coconut liquid soap base and add with tea tree oil. Aloe vera has antibacterial properties which can help control and reduce bacteria which causes acne. 

Coconut liquid soap base moisturises your face and reduces the inflammation caused by the acne. Tea tree oils kills the bacteria that causes acne, and leaves the skin clearer. Finally, add khaki green mica, to add some colour to your cleanser. Enjoy!

Preparation Time : 5 minutes

Total Time : 10 minutes 

Ingredients: (makes 200g Gel Cleanser)

1. 100g SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base
2. 100g SoapLab’s Aloe Vera Gel Base 
3. 1g Tea Tree Oil 
4. 1g Khaki Green Colour Pigment 
5. 2g Glycerin
6. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
7. 200 ml Pump Bottle 

Equipments You Will Need:

1. Heat Resistant Containers
2. Spatula/ Stirrer (Can Also be kitchen Spoon)
3. Weighing Scale (Digital)

Visual Guide 

1.  Pour 100g SoapLab’s Aloe Vera Gel Base into a container, ready to be mixed. 
   
   
   
2. Add in 100g SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base into the mixing container. 
   
   
   
3. Add in 1g of Tea Tree Oil into mixture. You may use a pipette to make it easier to measure.
   
   
   
4. Add in premixed Khaki Green Colour Pigment into the mixing container. 
   
   
   
5.  Mix liquid soap base, gel base, colour and oil with a whisk. 
   
   
   
6. Spray Rubbing Alcohol inside the storage container. This will help sterilise the container and remove any existing contaminants and bacteria. 
   
   
   
7. Pour gel cleanser into the storage container.
   
   
   
8. Screw on the pump head tightly to avoid any spillage. There you go, gel cleanser is ready to combat acne!
