DIY Acne Clearing Cream Cleanser Using Tea Tree Oil

There are many factors which causes acne. One of the causes is clogged pores. Today’s recipe will be for the acne clearing tea tree cream cleanser. To make the cleanser you will need Soaplab’s jojoba lotion base and coconut liquid soap base and add tea tree oil to it. The jojoba lotion base moisturizes the skin and also helps heal wounds caused by acne. The coconut liquid soap base cleanses the face, while also reducing inflammation. Tea tree oil penetrates and unclogs the pores of the skin. This disinfects the skin, which reduces acne. Keeping your skin fresh, keeps you revitalized and acne at bay.

Preparation Time : 5 minutes

Total Time : 10 minutes 

Ingredients: (makes 200g Cream Cleanser)

1. 100g SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base
2. 100g SoapLab’s Jojoba Lotion Base 
3. 1g Tea Tree Oil 
4. 1g Khaki Green Colour Pigment 
5. 2g Glycerin
6. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
7. 200 ml Pump Bottle 

Equipments You Will Need:

1. Heat Resistant Containers
2. Spatula/ Stirrer (Can Also be kitchen Spoon)
3. Weighing Scale (Digital)
4. Heater (Induction cooker/ double boiler / microwave)

Visual Guide  

1. Pour 100g SoapLab’s Jojoba Lotion Base into a container, ready to be mixed. 
   
   
   
2. Add in 100g SoapLab’s Coconut Liquid Soap Base into the mixing container. 
   
   
   
3. Add in 1g of Tea Tree Oil into mixture. You may use a pipette to make it easier to measure.
   
   
   
4. Add in premixed Khaki Green Colour Pigment into the mixing container. 
   
   
   
5. Mix liquid soap base, lotion base, colour and oil with a whisk. 
   
   
   
6. Spray Rubbing Alcohol inside the storage container. This will help sterelize the container and remove any existing contaminants and bacteria. 
   
   
   
7. Pour cream cleanser into the storage container.
   
   
   
8. Screw on the pump head tightly to avoid any spillage. There you go, cream cleanser is ready to combat acne!
