How To Make: Anti-Acne Toner (Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil)

Toning water is an effective tool in the fight against acne.

It helps soothe and hydrate the skin. To make it, add distilled water, witch hazel distillate, and tea tree oil to Soaplab’s hyaluronic serum base. 

Witch hazel is an extremely effective ingredient in the fight against acne. It reduces the inflammation caused by acne while heals any infection or wound on the skin. 

Tea tree oil kills the bacteria which causes acne breakouts. Finally, Soaplab’s hyaluronic serum base hydrates and moisturises the skin. Enjoy!

Preparation Time : 5 minutes

Total Time : 10 minutes 

Ingredients: (makes 200g Toner)

1. 180g Distilled Water 
2. 20g SoapLab’s Hyaluronic Serum Base  
3. 1g Tea Tree Oil 
4. 1g Witch Hazel Distillate
5. 2g Polysorbate 20
6. 1g Liquid Germal Plus
7. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
8. 200 ml Storage Bottle 

Equipments You Will Need:

1. Heat Resistant Containers
2. Spatula/ Stirrer (Can Also be kitchen Spoon)
3. Weighing Scale (Digital)

Visual Guide  

1. Pour 180g of distilled water into a container, ready to be mixed. 
   
   
   
2. Add in 20g SoapLab’s Hyaluronic Serum Base into the mixing container. 
   
   
   
3. Add in 1g of Tea Tree Oil into mixture. You may use a pipette to make it easier to measure.
   
   
   
4. Add in 1g of Witch Hazel Distillate into the mixing container. 
   
   
   
5. Add in Polysorbate 20 into the mixture as well. 
   
   
   
6. Mix liquid water, serum base, and oil with a whisk. Polysorbate will help water & oil to emulsify and to not separate. 
   
   
   
7. Spray Rubbing Alcohol inside the storage container. This will help sterilise the container and remove any existing contaminants and bacteria. 
   
   
   
8. Pour toner into the storage container carefully to avoid any spillage. 
   
   
   
9. Screw on the head tightly and there you go, toning water is ready to combat acne!
