How To Make: DIY Milk & Shea Butter Hand Butter

Hi all! Today’s recipe is for the Milk & Shea Hand Butter. To make the hand butter add shea butter to a jojoba lotion base. The jojoba lotion base hydrates and moisturizes your hands. In addition to that, it also nourishes your skin making it smooth and soft. The shea butter nourishes and softens the skins and leaves the skin feeling fresh. Its like adding an extra layer of butter on top to make it super moisturising.

Finally; Add, rice petals & shea butter fragrance oil for a savory aroma. The Milk & Shea Hand Butter will leave your hands looking fresh ad will also to reduce lines on the skin. Enjoy!

Preparation Time : 5 minutes

Total Time : 20 minutes 

Ingredients: (makes 200g Hand Butter)

1. 200g SoapLab’s Jojoba Lotion Base
2. 2g Rice Petals & Shea Butter Fragrance Oil 
3. 1g Shea Butter
4. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
5. 60g storage jar x 3 

Equipments You Will Need:

1. Heat Resistant Containers
2. Spatula/ Stirrer (Can Also be kitchen Spoon)
3. Weighing Scale (Digital)

Visual Guide  

1.  In a mixing container, put in 200g SoapLab’s Jojoba Lotion Base.  
   
   
   
2. Add in melted Shea Butter into the container. You may melt the it by using an induction cooker or a microwave. 
   
   
   
3. Add in 2g of Rice Petals & Shea Butter Fragrance Oil to the container. You may use a pipette to make it easier to measure and dispense the oil.
   
   
   
4. Using a normal baking spatula, mix lotion, oil and butter together.  
   
   
   
5. Get your disposable piping bag and transfer all of your mixture into it. This will make an easy transfer from mixing container to storage jar.  
   
   
   
6. Spray storage container with rubbing alcohol to remove any existing impurities & bacteria. 
   
   
   
7. Using a pair of scissors, snip off the end of the piping bag, now its ready to fill. Fill mixture until it reaches the brim of the jar. Do not overfill as it will spill and overflow when you screw your cap on. 
   
   
   
8. Screw on the cap and this hand butter is ready to be use (:
