How To Make Bath Bomba For Valentines Day: You Are A Bomb!

Hope you’re excited! Have you watched those Youtube videos with colorful bath bombs and wish you can have those too? Instead of buying these expensive and chemical laden bath bombs, you can make it yourself too! Finally guys! After so many requests this one is for you! We are finally making a bath bomb for you! Just coz we love you our readers so much and when else is the best time to express our love to you if not now during valentines week.

The secret to getting all the bubble, is...guess what ? Sodium bicarbonate. Yep that’s it. Next we add in some citric acid and you’ve got your base done. To get some pretty colors, we’ll be using Peach Pink Mica and Sparkle Bronze Mica. This gives a lovely peachy color to your bath that you’ll love!

We then use Happy Designer Fragrance Oil for the lovely scent and witch hazel to clear acne, and soothe your skin.

This one’s definitely for self-pampering. Have fun!

Caution: lots of trial and errors k. coz if you spray too much with hazel it can 'fizz' that time itself. and if its too little; it just doesnt form. So just like making dough, this is the same: trial and error.

Visual Guide

  1. In a large enough mixing bowl, pour in your Sodium Bicarbonate, ready to be mix.

  2. Next, add in your Citric Acid.

  3. Using a spatula, mix both ingredients together carefully. You may also use your hands to break up lumps.

  4. Add in Happy Designer Fragrance Oil to help scent your bath bomb. Mix again.

  5. Give the mixture a few sprays of Witch Hazel to help them stick onto each other.

  6. To check if the bomb is ready for the mold, clump some mixture in your palm and see if it retains it shape. If it does, then it is ready :)

  7. For fun, split mixture into 3 parts, doesn't have to be equal.

  8. In each container, add in Sparkle Bronze Mica & Peach Pink Mica respectively. Give each container a good mix.

  9. For this recipe we will be using a small bath bomb mold like so.

  10. Push & press mixtures of different colours onto each mold.

  11. Add a piece of melt & pour rose soap in the middle for surprise ;)

  12. Place some more mixture on top of each mold and sandwich them together. Push them onto one another as hard as you can.

  13. To release, twist the mold off from the bath bomb carefully.

  14. Each colour combination will give out a variety of outcome, so play around to find which one you like best.

  15. Repeat steps 10 to 14 to get 6 bath bombs. With that, bath bombs are ready to use (:
