How To Make Hair Repairing Serum: Using Aloe Vera & Rose


Today we will be showing you the recipe for the Aloe Rose Hair Repairing Serum. 

To make it; just add aloe vera extract and glycerin to a serum base.This serum base contains hyaluronic acid that is researched to help in moisturising scalp and keeping it healthy and eventually; promotes hair growth.

 Aloe vera has an array of benefits for your hair and scalp. It repairs the deads skin on your scalp and promotes hair growth. It also moisturizes and hydrates, leaving your hair smooth and shiny. 

Add, rose flower fragrance oil for an aromatic fragrance. For, a striking color add red rose mica. 


Duration:

Preparation Time : 5 minutes
Total Time : 10 minutes 

Ingredients: (makes 100g Serum)

  1. 100g SoapLab’s Hair Serum Base  
  2. 0.5g Aloe Vera Extract 
  3. 1g Rose Flower Fragrance Oil 
  4. 0.5g Red Rose Mica  
  5. 1g Glycerin 
  6. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
  7. 100ml pump bottle

Visual Guide 

  1. Pour 100g of SoapLab’s Hair Serum Base into a container, ready to be mixed. 

  2. Add in 0.5g Rose Red Mica premixed with glycerin into the mixing container. 

  3. Add in Aloe Vera Extract using a pipette. 

  4. Add in Rose Flower Fragrance Oil into the mixture. Again, use a pipette for easy and accurate measuring & dispensing. 

  5. Mix everything with a whisk until colour is evenly dispersed throughout the serum. 

  6. Spray Rubbing Alcohol inside the storage container. This will help sterelize the container and remove any existing contaminants and bacteria. 

  7. Pour serum into the storage container carefully to avoid any spillage. 

  8. Screw on the pump head tightly and there you go, hair serum is ready!

  3. Make sure all your utensils and work surface is clean and sterilise as dirty area and utensils can reduce shelf life of scrub

  5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
