DIY Gentle Sugar & Himalayan Salt Body Scrub In Malaysia

If you are in need of a scrub urgently, a salt and sugar scrub can be whipped up in no time. Add sugar, pink himalayan salt and geranium essential oil to Soaplab’s scrub base. 

The scrub base exfoliates the skin, leaving the pores open to remove impurities and absorb moisture and minerals. Sugar exfoliates the skin and leaves the skin soft and supple. 

Meanwhile, the pink himalayan salt tones the skin and removes impurities from the skin. It is also rich with minerals which keeps the skin healthy. 

Geranium essential oil reduces inflammation and redness of the skin. This scrub will be perfect when you are in need of some pampering. Have fun!

Ingredients: (makes 100g Scrub)

1. 20g SoapLab’s Scrub Base (creamy feel) or Foaming Body Butter Base (soapy feel)
2. 50g Sugar 
3. 30g Pink Himalayan Salt 
4. 0.5g Geranium Essential Oil 

How to Make 

Visual Guide  

1. Scoop out some SoapLab’s Scrub Base into a heat resistant container & melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals. 
2. In a separate container, add in sugar into the container. 
3. Next, add in Pink Himalayan Salt into the container. 
4. Next, add in Geranium Essential Oil. 
5. Lastly, add in the melted scrub base that has been slightly cooled into the container. Allow base to cool as piping hot base will melt the salt or sugar.  
6. Using a spatula, mix everything until combine. 
7. When the mixture starts to come together and look something like this, it is ready. 
8. For storage, transfer the scrub into an airtight container. 
9. And just like that, your all natural scrub is ready to use :)
