Free Recipe: Orchid & Sea Kelp Cold Process Soap (Soothing)

Hi guys! Still on the beach theme, and today we’re making the Orchid & Sea Kelp Beach Waves Soap! 🌊 Tried to create that ocean wave effect in the soap—what do you think? The deep blues and soft swirls make it look like the waves crashing on the sand!

The star ingredient here is sea kelp extract, which has been used in traditional Asian skincare for its hydrating and soothing benefits. It’s great for keeping skin soft and fresh, especially after a long day under the sun. The scent pulak, Orchid Fresh, gives off that tropical floral vibe—like walking along the beach at sunset!

Why I Used What I Used

1. Sea Kelp Extract – Popular in Asian skincare, sea kelp is known to hydrate and refresh the skin, making it perfect for a beach-inspired soap!

2. Orchid Fresh Fragrance Oil – A light floral scent that smells like a tropical breeze.

3. Oil Mix Base – Made with coconut, olive, palm, and castor oils for a creamy lather that cleans without drying the skin.

4. Neon Blue & Soft Blue Micas – Gives that ocean wave look, perfect for the beach theme.

5. Black Silver Mica & Titanium Dioxide – Adds contrast, making the waves pop!

6. Oats (Decoration) – A little something to give that sandy beach feel.

Recipe to Make This

1. 300g Coconut Oil

2. 300g Olive Oil

3. 300g Palm Oil

4. 100g Castor Oil

5. 144g SoapLab’s Sodium Hydroxide

6. 288g Water

7. 50g Orchid Fresh Fragrance Oil

8. 20g Sea Kelp Extract

9. 10g Neon Blue Mica

10. 10g Soft Blue Mica

11. 5g Black Silver Mica

12. 5g Titanium Dioxide

13. 30g Oils (to mix the colors)

14. 10g Oats (decoration)
