Honey & Avocado Antibacterial (Madu & Avokado) Cold Process Soap – DIY Handmade Soap Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore

For this week’s Honey Series, we’re making Honey & Avocado Soap (Sabun Madu & Avokado)! Inspired by Latin American and Mediterranean skincare traditions, avocado is packed with healthy fats and vitamins, making it great for deeply moisturizing and softening the skin.

Pair that with madu (honey), which is naturally soothing and antibacterial, and you’ve got a soap that’s perfect for anyone struggling with dry or rough skin. The fresh bamboo & honey fragrance makes this feel like an everyday luxury!

Recipe

300g Coconut Oil

300g Olive Oil

300g Palm Oil

100g Castor Oil

144g Sodium Hydroxide

288g Water

10g Green Mica

10g Yellow Mica

50g Honey Fragrance Oil

25g Fresh Bamboo Fragrance Oil

10g Avocado

2g Sparkle Bronze Mica

4g Glycerin

Rubbing Alcohol (to spray)

Why I Used What I Used

• Avocado – Used in Latin American and Mediterranean skincare for its deep hydration & skin-softening properties.

• Madu (Honey) Fragrance Oil – Adds a warm, sweet honey scent that feels calming.

• Fresh Bamboo Fragrance Oil – Gives a fresh, green scent like a tropical forest.

• Oil Mix Base (Coconut, Olive, Palm, Castor Oils) – Creates a gentle yet creamy lather without drying the skin.

• Green & Yellow Mica – Adds a natural, earthy look inspired by honey & avocados.

• Sparkle Bronze Mica – A touch of shimmer to make the soap look even prettier!

• Rubbing Alcohol – Removes bubbles for a smooth finish.
