Honey & Greek Yogurt (Madu) Cold Process Soap – DIY Handmade Soap Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore

For this week’s Honey Series, we’re making a soap inspired by the traditional use of madu (honey) in skincare—Honey & Greek Yogurt CP Soap! 

In Malaysia, honey has always been known for softening and moisturizing the skin, while Greek yogurt is believed to help with brightening and smoothing.

This soap is perfect for those with dry or dull skin—it cleanses while keeping the skin moist and nourished. And the little bee soap embeds make it extra cute!

Recipe

300g Coconut Oil
300g Olive Oil
300g Palm Oil
100g Castor Oil
144g Sodium Hydroxide
288g Water
5g Neon Blue Mica
20g Sparkle Silver Mica
5g Yellow Mica
50g Honey, Bergamot & Almond Fragrance Oil
10g Greek Yogurt
Melt & Pour Bee Soap Embeds
Rubbing Alcohol (to spray)
Silicone Mould - 1kg

Why I Used What I Used

• Greek Yogurt – Traditionally used to brighten & soften skin, makes the soap extra creamy.
• Madu (Honey) Fragrance Oil – Warm, sweet scent that smells like fresh honeycomb with a hint of almond.
• Oil Mix Base (Coconut, Olive, Palm, Castor Oils) – Cleanses well while keeping skin moisturized & soft.
• Neon Blue, Sparkle Silver & Yellow Micas – Creates a honey-glow effect, making the soap look like a bee’s paradise.
• Melt & Pour Bee Soap Embeds – Adds a fun, decorative touch!
• Rubbing Alcohol – Helps remove bubbles for a smooth finish.
