Ever since we started our GMP factory 2 months back; every single production is a learning curve for us.
If you are a mom who feels devastated and heart broken when you see your milk goes to waste; then you are in the right page.
Few years ago; i was in your position too. I just delivered my beautiful baby girl and as a mom; i was determined to give her the best! and everyone knows that no formula milk could replace mommy's milk; and so when i wasnt feeding her directly; i would obsessly 'pump'. I had so many 4oz milk nicely stacked in my fridge.
Then one fine day; while i was away for a quick weekend gateaway; the electricity went off; and so did the milk too! You can imagine how i felt! all my hard work gone!
And thats when i decided to make soaps using those milk. It may not be suitable for my daugther to drink it; but it was definately great to be applied on my daughter's skin. Especially since she was starting to get 'heat rash'.
So using my pharmaceutical knowledge ( i worked in dermatology setting and government's outpatient setting for 6 years before that) and i formulated a soap that would be good in quality, soft and moisturising for skin, and a soap that could has a long shelf life!
What To Do With Expired Breast Milk?

This post shows you how to make your own baby cot insect repellant that is safe, and natural, and the best thing; since its made as a solid 'balm' you can apply it on your skin too!
What Is It?
Its a solid 'balm' that you can hang on your baby's cot/chair etc. Its made using natural butters and oils so its completely natural and safe. When you hang it; since it has insect repelling essential oil, it will shoo the mosquitos away! Cool right??Will Baby Cot Insect Repellant melt over time?

Today's recipe is going to be a fun one. The soap uses a transparent soap base.
Add ocean blue mica and baby fresh fragrance oil into the base. The fragrance oil gives a fresh and clean fragrance as the name suggests.
After mixing, melt and pour into a cavity mold with rubber duckie embeds.
These gentle soaps are great for kids, and the fun design gives them a toy to play with it.
You could even make these rubber duckie soaps with your little ones as a fun activity. Enjoy!
P/S: This rubber duckie embeds were made using another mold (a duck mold). How we did it was to add yellow pigment into a white soap base and pour it into the mold a day before. The duck was then unmold 2-3 hours later and that is how we got the embed. SoapLab Malaysia do not sell the duck molds but we found it at any bakery supply shops (or chocolate supply store). The molds were plastic looking molds.
