Correcting Cooling Cucumber Cold Process Soap (For Red & Itchy Skin)

Hi all, for those of you who constantly experience skin redness, irritation…yet its not because you have dry skin, this is the perfect soap for you. This soap will soothe and cool your skin while even-ing out your skin tone. 

Firstly, we use cucumber juice for its various benefits. It has of course the cooling and hydrating properties we are all familiar with, which reduces dark circles and puffiness. 

What most of us don't know, is that these same properties are also great for soft and supple skin and reducing redness and itchiness. 

Next we use chamomile essential oil. This relieves skin irritation whether from chemical products, make up or simply if your skin was dry. 

For moisturising effect we use shea butter and aloe vera for the enzymes that help soothe any skin irritations. This soap all in all is a very soothing soap. Have fun making this soap!

3. Make sure all your utensils and work surface is clean and sterilise as dirty area and utencils can reduce shelf life of scrub

5. If applying on face, avoid citrus based or sandalwood essential oil as Malaysian weather will cause your skin to be easily sun burnt. Wear sun protection if add these Essential oils.
