How To Make: Anti Acne Face Serum Using Tea Tree Oil

When the face is dry, its usually because its stripped of its natural oils and moisture. The skin then naturally tells our skin that its ‘dry’ and all of a sudden  skin will produce more oils that tends to clog pores and causes an acne breakout. 

For this; one of the solution is to add tea tree oil and aloe vera extract to Soaplab’s hyaluronic serum base. The hyaluronic serum base provides hydration and moisture to the skin. This keeps the skin fresh and revitalised. 

The tea tree oil cleanses the pores which reduces bacteria that causes acne. Aloe vera reduces inflammation on the face caused by acne and soothes the skin. By adding the serum to your skin care routine, the regulation of moisture and natural oils improves thus reducing acne.

Ingredients: (makes 100g Serum)

1. 100g SoapLab’s Hyaluronic Serum Base  
2. 0.5g Tea Tree Oil 
3. 0.5g Aloe Vera Extract
4. 0.2g Khaki Green Colour Pigment
5. 0.5g glycerin 
6. 10 sprays of Rubbing Alcohol
7. 2 x 50g serum bottle  

Equipments You Will Need:

1. Heat Resistant Containers
2. Spatula/ Stirrer (Can Also be kitchen Spoon)
3. Weighing Scale (Digital)

Visual Guide 

1. Pour 100g of SoapLab’s Hyaluronic Serum Base into a container, ready to be mixed. 
   
   
   
2. Add in 0.5g Tea Tree Oil into the mixing container.
   
    
3. Add in 0.5g of Aloe Vera Extract into the mixture. You may use a pipette to make it easier to measure.
   
   
   
4. Add in premixed Khaki Green Mica into the mixture as well. 
   
   
   
5. Mix everything with a whisk until colour is evenly dispersed throughout the serum.
   
   
   
    
6. Spray Rubbing Alcohol inside the storage container. This will help sterelize the container and remove any existing contaminants and bacteria. 
   
   
   
7. Pour serum into the storage container carefully to avoid any spillage. Screw on the dropper tightly and there you go, facial serum is ready to combat acne!
